All our training workshops/1-2-1 sessions are delivered by Bill Irvine. He was Head of Benefits, Revenues & Advice services at one of the UK’s largest councils, Local Government advisor to the Housing Benefit Standing Committee, Westminster. Bill also gave both oral and written evidence to the Work & Pensions Committee’s investigation into LHA; the private sector HB scheme. In 2012 he was asked by CIH to help run its Bedroom Tax and Universal Credit courses UK wide. He also represents landlords and their tenants in disputes with Councils and DWP and, where needed, offers representation before First & Upper-tier Tribunals.
Our workshops aim to help delegates attending:
The RLA courses are usually delivered in regional areas (Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham & London – details available through RLA). More & more landlords are organising sessions in their own offices and sometimes share the cost of the sessions by collaborating with neighbouring organisations. Training delivered locally, can reduce the cost per head and avoid costly travelling & overnight expenses.
Testimonials to just how effective our training is can be found here: If you would like to arrange a bespoke in-house session for your organisation or maybe in conjunction with others, please contact bill@ucadvice.co.uk or phone 01698 424301 or 07733 080389.
